Small Seeds Tube Adjustment (Option)

Refer to Figure 24

On a drill with the Small Seeds option, deeper seed

placement may be achieved by rotating the seed tube

to face forward.
This orientation is suggested only if the seed firmer is a

seed flap. If a Keeton

or Seed

Lok

is present, seed

falls on the firmer and may be scattered rather than

placed deeper.

firming wheels provide additional

seed

soil contact. The wheels are spring loaded and

do not require adjusting. In some wet and sticky

conditions the wheels may accumulate soil. To avoid

problems associated with this, you can lock

up the

firmers.

this task can be performed with discs mounted)
