Insert stop pins (#1) through rear holes in hinge
plates (#2) and secure with cotter pins (#13). Bend
one or more legs of each cotter pin to keep cotter
pins from falling out.

Attach hinge plates (#2) to rear braces (#12) as
follows:
a. Rotate hinge plates (#2) up until stop pin (#1) is
above hitch brace bars (#6) as shown in Detail-A.
b. Insert 3/4"-10 x 4 1/2" GR5 cap screw (#9A)
through rear brace bar (#6), flat washer (#15),
hinge plates (#2), 1 5/8" long bushing (#3), hinge
plates (#2), flat washer (#15), and rear brace
bar (#6). Secure cap screw (#9A) with hex flange
lock nut (#11).
c. Draw locknut (#11) up snug and then back-off
1/4 turn.

Insert clevis pin (#19) through hitch straps (#4 & #5)
and secure with hair pin cotter (#13).
7.
Insert hitch pins (#20) into clevis plates as shown
and secure with linchpins (#18).

3-Point Hitch Assembly
Refer to Figure 1-2 on page 9:
1.
Attach the smaller 11/32" diameter hole in rear
braces (#6) to rear deck lugs as shown using
5/8"-11 x 1 3/4" GR5 cap screws (#8A) and hex
flange locknuts (#12). Draw locknuts (#12) up snug
and then back-off 1/4 turn.

Attach left and right-hand hitch straps (#4 & #5) to
cutter deck with 5/8"-11 x 1 3/4" GR5 bolts (#8B),
bushings (#10), 1 3/4" OD flat washers (#14), and
hex flange lock nuts (#12). Tighten lock nuts to the
correct torque.
3.
Attach hinge plates (#2) to hitch straps (#4 & #5) as
follows:
a. With notch in driveline chain clip (#7) facing up
and towards the front as shown in Detail-A, insert
3/4"-10 x 4 1/2" GR5 cap screw (#9B) through
chain clip (#7), left hitch strap (#4), machine
washer (#16), hinge plates (#2), 1 5/8" long
bushing (#3), hinge plates (#2), machine
washer (#16), right hitch strap (#5), and hex
flange lock nut (#11).
b. Draw locknut (#11) up snug and then back-off
1/4 turn.
NOTE: Bolts (#8A, #9A, & #9B,) must be loose so
that hinge plates (#2) can pivot freely.
