FUSELAGE FIRE ON GROUND
Should a fuselage fire occur while the aircraft is on the ground, proceed as
follows:
1.
Fuel Shutoff Handle – OFF
2.
Mixture Control – IDLE CUTOFF
3. Throttle
–
CLOSED
4.
Ignition Switch – OFF
5.
Master Switch – OFF
TAKEOFF EMERGENCIES
ENGINE FAILURE DURING TAKEOFF ROLL (Still on runway)
Should the engine fail during takeoff, or if it becomes necessary to abort, proceed
as follows:
1. Throttle
–
CLOSED
2.
Brakes – APPLY
3.
Mixture Control – IDLE CUTOFF
4.
Flap Handle – UP
If anticipating going off runway into unprepared terrain in excess of 15 kts.
5.
Master Switch – OFF
ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF (LOW ALTITUDE)
If the engine fails at low altitude:
1.
Immediately adjust nose attitude to maintain airspeed above stall—
must
push nose below horizon

Landing Gear Handle:
