Most of the Safety and condition of the
vehicle depend on how you do the cor -
rect maintenance, periodic inspection,
adjustment and lubrication. The fol -
lowing are contents that help the ope -
rator to do such skills on the following
pages.

Maintenance, replacement, or repair of
the emission control devices and sys-
tems may be performed by any repair
shop or individual that is certified and
must follow the local law regulations.
If you are not familiar with mainte-
nance work, have a dealer do it for you.
Owner’s tool kit
The owner’s tool kit (1) is located inside
the rear storage luggage box.

The service information included in this
manual and the tools provided in the
owner’s tool kit are intended to assist
you in the performance of preventive
maintenance and minor repairs. How-
ever, additional tools such as a torque
wrench may be necessary to perform
certain maintenance work correctly.
CAUTION
If you do not have the tools or experi -
ence required for a particular job, have
a dealer perform it for you.

Modifications not approved by maker
may cause loss of performance, ex-
cessive emissions, and render the ve-
hicle unsafe for use. Consult a dealer
before attempting any changes.
Modifications without authorization of
the manufacturer cause the warranty
to be voided.
