Configuration of Ethernet Interface with Lantronix Device-Installer

The

rain[e]H3

Ethernet has a built-in device server (port server) from Lantronix. The “Lantronix Device-Installer”

is required for configuring the Ethernet interface. This can be downloaded at:

http://www.lantronix.com/products/deviceinstaller/

(Status April 2017)

The Lantronix DeviceInstaller is a Windows-based GUI application. With this application the device can be found

in the network and the Ethernet interface or the port server can be configured.

After the DeviceInstaller has been installed, connect the Ethernet interface to the PC and start the DeviceInstaller.

By pressing the “Search“ button the network is searched for existing devices. If no device is found, try to change

the Windows network settings to “Obtain an IP address automatically“.

The devices found are displayed.
