Restore the controller and connect to a constant

Disconnected/faulty meter cable. Check the connections in the power head and
on the meter cover. Replace the cable.

Clean or replace the meter.

By-pass valve is open.
Close the by-pass valve.

Plugged injector and/or filter.
Clean or replace the injector and/or filter.
Insufficient water flowing into the

Check the brine tank refill time and clean the
flow regulator.
Hot water tank hardness.
Flush the hot water tank repeatedly.
Leak in the distributor tube.
Ensure the distributor tube has no cracks. Check
the O-ring.
Internal valve leak.
Replace the seals and spacers and/or the piston
assembly.
Blocked meter.
Clean or replace the meter.
