• 

Shop bought ice cubes tend to be bigger and will take longer to crush and may mean the 
sorbet  is  too  soft  and  needs  to  be  frozen  before  serving.  Homemade  ice  cubes  are  often 
smaller and quicker to crush.

• 

To prevent mixture from melting do not over mix.

• 

If the mixture is too soft then it may need to be frozen for a short while before serving.

• 

If frozen ensure that it is allowed to rest out of the freezer for a few minutes before serving.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Following are some common problems that can occur when using the blender . Please revue the 
problems, their possible cause and any corrective action that should be taken to ensure successful 
blending.

The unit cannot be switched 

on

The blender jug is not locked 
into engine base unit

Switch off the blender and 
unplug the power cable. 
Check the connection 
between the blender jug 
and base, ensuring the jug is 
locked in correctly

Switch off the blender and 

unplug. Carefully remove 

ingredients blocking the 

blade.

unplug. Using a plastic 

spatula carefully scrape the 

food from the wall of the jug.

CARE AND CLEANING

•  Unplug the blender and allow to cool completely before cleaning.
•  Before the first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly.
•  Periodically check all parts before reassembly.
•  Always use plastic, nylon or silicone spatulas etc. – metal tools will damage non stick coatings.
•  Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
•  To clean the unit and control panel, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry before storing.
•  Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or abrasive materials or cleansers.
•  Wash the blender jug in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
•   OR you can half fill the jug with warm soapy water. Fit the jug back into the motor base and 

with the lid in place let the unit run on speed 2 until the jug is clean

•  CAUTION! The blades inside the jug are very sharp. DO NOT touch the blades whilst cleaning.
•  Store the blender with the power cable loosely coiled. Never wrap it tightly around the blender
