•  To avoid injury or possible fire, do not cover the appliance when in use.

•  Do not connect this appliance to an external timer or remote control system.

•   An extension cable may be used with care. The electrical rating of the cable should be at least 

as great as the appliance. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of the worktop or 
touch any hot surfaces.

•   This appliance complies with the basic requirements of Directives 04/108/EC (Electromagnetic 

Compatibility) and 06/95/EC (Safety of Domestic Electrical Appliances)

•   WARNING;  A  cut  off  plug  inserted  into  a  13amp  socket  is  a  serious  safety  (shock)  hazard. 

Ensure the cut off plug is disposed of safely.

•   

CAUTION;  the  plastic  bags  used  to  wrap  this  appliance  or  the  packaging  may  be 

dangerous. T o avoid risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of reach of babies and children. 
These bags are not toys. 

•  Do not operate the blender empty.

•  Do not lift or move the blender whilst in use.

•  Never leave the blender unattended.

•  Do not blend more than the maximum capacity

•  Keep the jug empty when not in use, do not store items in the jug.

•   Care  must  be  taken  when  mixing  hot  liquids  and  foods  as  excess  pressure  may  build  up 

inside the blender and this could cause the lid to come off and the contents to splash out. 
We recommend that you avoid mixing excessively hot foods, allowing them to cool to room 
temperature before blending.

•   Do not use the blender for very hard food products, such as bones, shelled nuts, frozen meats 

etc. This could damage the blade or cause the motor to seize.

•   The blender is equip with a security function. The blender can only be switched on if the jug is 

locked in the engine base correctly.

•   CAUTION! The blades of the jug are very sharp. Care must be taken when handling the sharp 

cutting blades, emptying the jug and during cleaning. 

•   Never  reach  into  the  blender  jar  with  your  fingers  or  with  a  spatula  which  the  blender  is 

running.

•  Do NOT use the blender continuously for more than 2 minutes

•  Allow the blender motor to cool down between processing cycles

•   Let  hot  liquids  such  as  soups  cool  to  room  temperature  before  blending.  Never  blend  hot 

liquids.

THE CONTROL PANEL AND PROGRAMMES

•   If the blender jug is correctly locked into the motor base the control dial will illuminate for one 

second which means power is connected and the blender is ready to go

•  During working mode the blue light around the dial will light up

•  The blender has variable speed control and 3 functions – PULSE, ICE and SMOOTHIE

•  Each of the function buttons will illuminate when selected

PULSE – creates a burst of power for quick blending. The PULSE function can be used to break 
apart large pieces of food or to control the texture of food when chopping. The PULSE function 
only operates for as long as it is pressed 

ICE – provides short powerful bursts (operates as a pulse function). Continue with the ICE function 
until the ice is crushed to the desired consistency. Do not put too many cubes into the blender for 
crushing; it is better to do larger quantities in smaller batches. Press the ICE function again to stop.

SMOOTHIE – for powerful blending. Press the SMOOTHIE function again to stop.

OTHER FEATURES

The blender is equip with a security function. The blender can only be switched on if the jug is

The blender motor unit has non slip feet 

How to assemble the blender and using for the very first time

•  Clean the measuring cup, lid and blender jug before first using

•  Make sure the blender unit is turned off

•   Fit the blender glass jug onto the main body, turn it slightly in a clockwise direction so it locks 

into the motor unit. The blender will not work if the jug is not installed correctly on to the 
motor unit.

•  Fill the jug with the desired foods for blending

•  DO NOT USE THE BLENDER WITHOUT ANY FOOD OR LIQUID INSIDE

•   Put the lid on top of the blender jug and push it down. Always ensure the blender lid is firmly 

in place before operating

•  Insert the measuring cup into the cover lid, turning until it locks into place

•  Ensure the turning knob is ‘OFF’ before connecting the power

•  The blue light of the speed dial will light up for one second, which means power is connected.
