illuminate. Select one of the function buttons. The button will light and the machine will work
in corresponding mode. OR choose the required variable speed setting.

•  To choose the speed turn the dial between ‘MIN’ (lowest speed) and ‘MAX’ (highest speed)

•  DO NOT operate continuously for more than 2 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

•  Cut ingredients into small even sized pieces. Do not try and blend large food items.

•   Add liquid ingredients to the blender jug first, followed by solid or dry ingredients. This will

ensure a more consistent blend

•  Fill the jug with the desired food. The maximum capacity is 1500ml

•   DO NOT over fill the jug, this will block the operation. Please turn off the unit and take out

some of the food or liquid before switching back on.

•   DO NOT try and blend frozen ingredients that have formed a solid mass. Allow to thaw slightly

and break up into smaller pieces before using

•  DO NOT use the blender to mash potatoes or mix heavy dough

•   If making breadcrumbs or processing herbs make sure the blender jar and blade are completely

dry

•   Use a spatula to redistribute ingredients in the blender jar. NEVER use metal utensils as these

may damage the jar or blade.

•  DO NOT use the blender jar to store food. Keep the jug empty when not in use.

•  DO NOT over-process – most foods will blend in just a few seconds

ADAPTING YOUR OWN RECIPES

After  you  have  made  some  of  the  recipes  supplied  you  may  wish  to  adapt  a  few  of  your  own
recipes. Start by selecting one of the recipes in this booklet, which is similar to your own and use
this as a guide.

•  Make sure you do not exceed maximum quantities – the maximum capacity is 1500ml

•  Always add liquid ingredients to the blender first, followed by solid or dry ingredients

•   Ensure ingredients are chopped up into small even sized pieces. Do not try and blend large

food items

•  DO NOT use the blender to mash potatoes or mix heavy dough

•   You can replace fruits with your own choice of similar fruits, but may need to adjust the liquid

content depending on the desired thickness of the smoothie

HINTS AND TIPS

•

DO NOT use the blender for very hard food products, such as bones, shelled nuts, frozen
meats etc, as this could damage the blade and cause the motor to seize

•  Allow frozen foods to thaw slightly and break into smaller pieces before using

•   AVOID mixing excessively hot liquids as this can cause an excess of pressure to build up inside

the blender and the lid come off causing the contents to splash out.

•  Allow hot food and liquids to cool to room temperature before blending.

•   Add liquid ingredients to the blender jug first, followed by solid or dry ingredients. This will

ensure a more consistent blend

•   The removable 60ml measuring cup in the lid makes it easy for additional ingredients to be

added whilst you blend

•   Always  make  sure  the  blender  jug  and  blade  are  completely  dry  before  processing  dry

ingredients such as making breadcrumbs or chopping fresh herbs
