The inductive properties of the probes have been characterized and are corrected in the
teslameter, resulting in accurate reported values to use as a correlation source
.
3.5.5 Digital I/O
The F71/F41 teslameter comes equipped with digital I/O for general purpose input/
output (GPIO) use, allowing for integration of hardware control and monitoring.
There are two isolated differential inputs, two isolated solid state relay outputs, an
is5 V supply, and an isolated ground. The I/O does not reference the main
power supply or ground and therefore can directly interface with a wide range of sys-
tems.
The pin assignments can be found in the table below. Each input and output can be
configured to provide a different function. The available functions are listed in
TABLE 3-2. The digital I/O connections are differential and isolated from the rest of
the instrument circuitry. This allows the teslameter to connect to a wide variety of I/O
networks without a shared ground.
In addition, is5 V and ground connections are provided on each row of the
connector should you wish to use them with the I/O connections.
