2.4 Rear Panel

This section provides a description of the F71/F41 teslameter rear panel connections.

Field control option

Line input assembly

Power is provided through the line input assembly.

USB Type-C™ interface

Connect to USB devices such as flash drives. Currently, only used
for firmware updates.

USB serial communications inter-
face

The USB interface is provided to connect with most modern com-
puters.

RJ-45 Ethernet interface

The Ethernet interface is provided to allow connection to a com-
puter network.

WLAN antenna connector

The Wi-Fi antenna attaches to this coax connector.

Digital I/O port

For general purpose input/output connection or trigger output
functionality. More information is provided in section 3.5.5.

Probe input connector

26-pin mini D-sub for Hall probes.

BNC analog output connector

Outputs the raw amplified Hall voltage signal. See section 2.4.5.
