POWERGLO SUBMERSIBLE 40 LED POND LIGHTS
Use only in pond and small decorative fountains where
persons will immerse no more than their hands and
lower arms while the product is energized. Do not
immerse to a depth greater than 4 ft. (1.2 m.)
For use in fresh water or out of water only. Not for use
in salt water.

using it. Failure to do so may result in loss of fi sh life
and/or damage to this appliance.

DANGER
– To avoid possible electric shock, special care
should be taken since water is employed in the use of
pond equipment. For each of the following situations,
do not attempt repairs yourself; return the appliance to
the store where it was purchased if still under warranty.
Power unit must be supplied by a circuit protected by
a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected by a
hooded, fl ush type, cover plate receptacle, marked for
use in Wet Locations.
A. If the appliance shows any sign of abnormal current
leakage or if a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter)
or RCD (Residual Current Device) switches off,
disconnect the power supply cord from mains (main
power supply) and remove the appliance from water.
B. Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It
should not be plugged if there is water on parts not
intended to be wet.
C. Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord
or plug, or if it is malfunctioning or if it is dropped
or damaged in any manner. The power cord of this
appliance cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged,
the appliance should be discarded. Never cut the
cord.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children.

CAUTION
– Always unplug or disconnect all appliances
in the pond from the electrical supply before placing
hands in water, before putting on or taking off parts and
while the equipment is being installed, maintained or
handled. When inserting or removing the lights from the
water, always disconnect from electrical supply. Never
yank the cord to pull the plug from outlet. Grasp the
plug and pull to disconnect. Always unplug an appliance
from the electrical supply when not in use. Never lift the
appliance by the cord.

CAUTION
– This is a Pond Light Kit. This product
has been evaluated for use in fresh water or out of
water only. Do not use this appliance for other than
its intended use (i.e.: do not use in swimming pools,
etc.). The use of attachments not recommended or sold
by the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe
condition.
• DO NOT use in water intended for swimming, wading,
immersion or bathing.
• The lights are suitable for use in water temperatures
up to 35°C (95ºF).
• Do not use the lights with infl ammable or drinkable
liquids.
6. Do not install or store the appliance where it will be
exposed to temperatures below freezing. Store indoors.
Shelter lights and transformer from direct sunlight.
The plastic materials have high stability to sunlight but
direct rays may speed aging.
7.
IMPORTANT
– Supply through a GFCI or RCD with rated
residual current not exceeding 30 mA.

Following these installation, electrical and maintenance
guidelines will ensure the safe and effi cient use of this
product. Low voltage circuit must be supplied by a power
unit marked as being suitable for submersed luminaries.
TRANSFORMER INSTALLATION
Please read these instructions before installing your
lighting system.
• Do not place the transformer close to fl ammable
materials.
• To avoid overheating, do not cover the transformer.
• Electrical connection must be in accordance with data
on the rating label.
• The cord should be protected from abrasion, cuts and
any other damage. If the cord is damaged, discard the
appliance. The socket must be positioned in a dry and
protected place.
• This appliance is made to work at temperatures between
5°C and 35°C (40ºF and 95ºF); never use it for any
purpose other than that which it is intended.
