2) After powering on, the LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 will run through its initialisation and self-test processes, and then enter
Copy Mode.
3) Press the Mode button twice to move to Test and Copy Mode.
4) Insert a Master disc in the top tray, and a blank CD-R/CD-RW disc in the bottom tray.
5) Press the Start button to begin recording in Test and Copy Mode.
At the end of the duplication process, the LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 will emit a long beep, eject the recorded disc and the OK
LED will light.
4.4. Verify Mode
Use this function to verify whether or not the recorded media is readable or not.
Important Note:
The Master CD must be inserted in the DVD-ROM in order to use this function.
1) Turn on the LaCie Dupli Disc CD121.
2) After powering on, the LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 will run through its initialisation and self-test processes, and then enter
Copy Mode.
3) Press the Mode button three times to move to Verify Mode.
4) Press the Start button to verify the readability of the recorded media.
If the CD has been recorded correctly, the OK LED will light. If not, the Error LED will light.
Important Note:
Use the Verify Mode to ensure the integrity of Audio CDs. The Compare Mode does not work with
Audio CDs.
4.5. Compare Mode
Use this function to compare a master disc to an unknown recorded CD-R/CD-RW disc, bit by bit.
Important Note:
The Compare Mode does not work with Audio CDs. Use the Verify Mode to check Audio CDs.
