In the scenario where Disk 0 fails some time after a recovery, the
front LED will blink continuously since it cannot boot from the first
drive with an operating system. The administrator may feel a bit
inconvenienced by having to connect a monitor, keyboard, and
mouse to the 5big Storage Server in order to choose Disk 1 as the
boot disk.
To keep the 5big Storage Server boot order, type or copy and paste
the following commands into
Command Prompt
before mirroring
the system disk (Go to
Start>Command Prompt
or
Start>Run
and type
cmd
.):
bcdedit /set {current} osdevice boot
bcdedit /set {current} device boot
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} device boot
bcdedit /set {memdiag} device boot
