Completely lower the grabber and adjust the limit switch so that it clicks as soon as the target is
detected.

7.

Perform a few up-and-down cycles of the grabber.

Each time it is raised, the grabber should close automatically in order not to hit the vehicle.

MPORTANT

:

If the system does not work properly, it may be necessary to replace the limit switch.

Adjusting Climb Cushioning Limit Switch

The climb cushioning limit switch is located near the top end of the lifting arm. This limit switch
provides a means of cushioning the grabber as it nears the top end of its stroke. No shock should
occur when the grabber gets there. If it is not the case then it may be that the climb cushioning limit
switch needs adjusting.

To adjust the climb cushioning limit switch, proceed as follows:

1.

Take down

the grabber completely by using the joystick.

2.

Turn off the engine.

3.

Unscrew the lever screws of the limit switch.

4.

Raise the detection lever a little bit and tighten up the screws.

5.

Repeat the procedure until no shock occurs when the grabber reaches the top end of its stroke

.

OTE

:

The cushioning effect must start far enough in advance so that heavy carts do not stop abruptly
at the top end of the arm.
