9-8 Communication protocol
?GDC a
DC field value query command. The
command can specify the axis
a
on which
the field has to be evaluated (T for total
field value). When no axis is indicated
field values for X, Y, Z axis fields and T
field are returned. The reply is in the
format:
GDC v;u;0,f;a;[p]
where:
v is the field on the a -axis
u is the measurement unit
f is the filter frequency in Hz related to the
selected span
a is axis which can be X, Y, Z, T.
p is the field polarity ( S or N ) given only
for scalar values (x, y, and z).
Or in the format:
GDC vx;px;X;vy;py;Y;
vz;pz;Z;vt;T;u;0,f;
where
vx is the field on the x -axis (similar for y
and z axis)
px is the field polarity for x -axis (similar
for y and z axis)
u is the measurement unit
f is the filter frequency in Hz related to the
selected span
+ means an over-range has occurred

Peak's amplitude and frequency on axis a .
The reply is in the format:

v;u;f;a
where:
v is the peak value of the field over the
whole span
u is the measurement unit
f is the frequency in Hz of the peak value.
a is axis which can be X, Y, Z, or T
(default).
