DESCRIPTION
A
Adds additional transient protection for the ±15 V dc display power lines. The only
equipment that connects to these lines is the WX-1000/SKY497 display. Refer to SB #107.
B
A production change that adds circuitry to the Input/Output PCB assembly to increase the
clock voltage level on U8 and U11 from 3 V dc TTL to 5 V dc CMOS level. Mod not required
for field units. Refer to SB #113.
C
A production change that replaces Q1 on the IF Demodulator PCB with a higher gain part.
Not required for field units. Refer to SB #125.
D
Adds the audio phrases, to U2, necessary for the ViP™ Extended Audio Callouts located in
Software Version 1.8. This changes the Input/Output PCB Assembly to P/N 812-11903-002.
Refer to SB805-11900-2.
E
Inspection modification to verify unapproved parts were not installed.

Corrects tracking of non-altitude reporting intruders when own aircraft is
greater than approximately 6,200 feet.
•
Corrects the displayed status of the radio altimeter (valid/invalid) when an
offscale condition occurs (i.e., MSG annunciator will not appear on the CDU
when radio altimeter is offscale, unless the discrete flag line changes to
invalid).
•
Changes the displayed company logo and name to reflect new ownership by
L-3 communications.

Eliminates false failures during the transmitter power self-test by adjusting
