Loading Paper in the Cassettes
The standard cassette will each hold plain paper, recycled paper or color paper. The standard cassette holds up to 250
sheets of plain paper (80 g/m²).
The following paper sizes are supported: A4, A5, A6, B5, Legal, Letter, Other (Folio, Oficio II, Executive, Statement,
216 × 340mm, 16K, Envelope C5 and ISO B5)

Adjust the cassette size.

Adjust the cassette size to reflect the size of paper being loaded. Paper sizes are marked on
the cassette.
NOTE
You should not use inkjet printer paper or any paper with a special surface coating. (Such paper may cause paper
jams or other faults.)
For clearer and brighter color copies, use the special color paper.
When using media types other than plain paper (such as recycled or colored paper), always specify the media type
setting. (Refer to
Media Type on page 9-7 ) The cassettes can hold paper with weights up to 163 g/m².
If the machine will not be used for a prolonged period, protect all paper from humidity by removing it from the
cassettes and sealing it in the paper storage bag.
IMPORTANT
When pulling the cassette out of the machine, ensure it is supported and does not fall out.
