J0502/J0503: Cassette no feed
Condition: The sensor detection is unstable.
When feeding from cassette 2,3, the paper leading edge reaches the PF feed sensor but it does not turn on
after the PF feed clutch turns on.
J0508: No paper feed from the duplex section
Condition: Paper is damaged (Paper is caught up, the paper conveying force is
lowered or paper slips).
When feeding from duplex section, the registration sensor does not turn on after the exit solenoid turns on
(after paper switches back).

1 Checking the connection The connector is not prop-
erly connected or the wire
is faulty. Clean the terminal of the fol-
lowing wire connectors and
reconnect the connectors. If
there is no continuity, replace
the wire.

2 Checking the PF feed sen-
sor The PF feed sensor does
not operate properly. Reattach the PF feed sensor
and reconnect the connector.
If not repaired, replace it.
3 Replacing the PF main
PWB The PF main PWB is
faulty. Replace the PF main PWB.
4 Replacing the main/engine
PWB The main/engine PWB is
faulty. Replace the main/engine
PWB.
