Ba[ery handling
Failure to follow these instrucTons may result in permanent ba[ery damage, electrocuTon, fire and/or explosion.
Ba[ery inspecTon
Your baFery will arrive par=ally charged, usually between 53V and 55V or around 70%. Charge your baFery before use, using only a Kymera-
supplied baFery charger.
Before every use, inspect the baFery for any signs of damage or defect. If any are found please take photos and send to
Ba[ery warnings
Always inspect the baFery case, switch and connectors for any signs of damage and do not use if any damage is found
Always install the baFery just before opera=on and remove immediately aber
Never allow your baFery to become submerged
Always remove the baFery prior to opening the rear hatch
Never transport your board with the baFery installed
Never aFempt to use a baFery which shows signs of cracking or other damage
Never aFempt to use a baFery which is emiUng a smell of lithium gas or smoke
Never open the rear hatch when the baFery is installed
Never open the baFery
Never leave your baFery discharged. Failure to maintain at least 40% charge will result in permanent damage and will void your warranty
Always check the baFery charge levels at least every 60 days and recharge to a storage level of 55V to maximize baFery life
Never store your baFery fully charged for more than (2) week.
Never clean your baFery with high pressure water.
Ba[ery overview
The Kymera baFery is a 51.8V normal charge 30Ah lithium baFery.
The baFery contains an advanced baFery management system (BMS) which protects the
baFery cells, the board and the rider from danger.
