5.1 Transparent-A

Using a KGW3101 Modbus Gateway and a PC in Transparent-A mode, the port type is RS-232. The ethernet

side works as a Modbus TCP Slave. Connect S1 which works as a Modbus RTU/ASCII Master to PC by DB9

cable.

A. Web Configuration

Power on KGW3101 and log in web server of the device, set the operation mode of device to Transparent

mode in

“Overview” page.

Then, click

“Operating Settings” in navigation bar to set Port S1 to RTU Master mode, and click “Save” to save

the change.

Click

“Serial Settings” in navigation bar to set the parameters of S1 according to the conditions. At last click

the

“Save” to save the change.
