Transparent-A Parameters

Operating Mode: RTU Master, ASCII Master

Filter Function: enable/disable the Modbus ID filter function
•
Filter ID Start: starting filtered Modbus ID in range of 1-247
•
Filter ID End: ending filtered Modbus ID in range of 1-247
•
Protocol: TCP or UDP

Local Port: set port numbers for ethernet communication. The default number of port 1 is 502, and
the port 2 is 7002. The range of the local port is 1-65535
B. Transparent-B: Modbus TCP Slave- Modbus RTU/ASCII Master
In this mode, the ethernet port should be in Modbus TCP Master mode, and the serial port should be in
Modbus RTU/ASCII Slave mode. The serial port mode should be set to RTU Slave mode or ASCII Slave
mode. The following is RTU Slave mode.

Remote IP: the range of IP for Modbus TCP is 1-247
