7. Remove antenna unit from mounting plate.
8. The mounting plate allows the antenna unit to be
mounted on a curved roof. While the perimeter of
the mounting plate is secured to the vehicle with
the appropriate fasteners, two flexible wings allow
the rear mounting bolts to attach to the antenna
baseplate. These may be angled upward to ensure
a secure mounting, as shown in Figure 2-4.
9. Using the mounting plate as a template, drill

Remove plate and clean roof surface. The
dimensions of the baseplate are shown in
Figure 2-5.
