Preparations on the field

Adjusting the

swath former

The height of the front swath former can be adjusted to suit the con-
tour of the ground. The rear swath former can be adjusted sideways
(width) and forwards and backwards depending on the fodder volume
and swath type.

Adjusting the front

swath former

The height of the front swath former can be adjusted as follows:

Loosen the nuts.

Adjust the front swath former to the desired height.

In the new position, tighten the nuts.

Removing the front

swath former

The front swath former may be removed when required, and mounted
onto the deflector bar.

Undo the nuts and remove the swath former.

Refit the nuts and screw them down securely.

Mount the swath former onto the deflector bar using the pins.
