Safety Controls

KVAL 990-H Operation Manual

Laser Safety Scanners

The safety laser scanner scans its environment with infrared laser beams.The laser scanner forms 
a protective field in the area of concern This protective field protects the hazardous area and 
enables hazardous-point protection, access protection or hazardous-area protection.

Homing

Reset the Scanner then press the Home button 
on the Screen.

If the Scanner field is broken the Screwdriver 
shift will stop and wait for you to reset the Scan-
ner before it starts again.

Screw Driving Sequence

If the Scanner field is broken the Screwdriver 
will stop shifting and wait for you to reset the 
Scanner before it starts again.

Once the screw drivers start down and in if the 
Scanner field is broken the Machine will stop 
the vertical breaks will be applied and then 
machine will have to be reset and re-homed.
