Functional description
Use the brush only to clean the heating element, so as to avoid transferring any tin from the soldering
tips.
■
Open the bayonet lock of the tip by twisting and pulling.
■
Remove the tip retainer and the soldering tip.
■
Carefully unplug the heating element.
■
Insert the new heating element into the handle.
■
Observe the long mark on the heating element.
■
Align the mark to the semicircular groove in the soldering iron.
■
Push in the heating element until the mark flushes with the groove.

Changing the prefilter
The prefilter is placed into the VAC socket of the soldering station in order to protect tools with a
vacuum connection from contamination. Order‑no.

Pull of the tube of a connected tool before changing the prefilter

Remove the used filter from the plug by pulling and turning at the
same time.
■
Push a new filter into the socket.
■
Plug in the tube of the tool again.
