At the SHDSL Ports the KE3600 supports following TC
sublayers (Transmission Convergence Layer), which
can be selected via the SHDSL Mode.
ATM: Asynchronous Transfer Mode
STU-R: Simulates the customer side (the modem) and
the PC based on ATM.
STU-C: Simulates the exchange side (the DSLAM)
based on ATM.
EFM: Ethernet in the First Mile
STU-R: Simulates the customer side (the modem) and
the PC based on EFM.
STU-C: Simulates the exchange side (the DSLAM)
based on EFM.
TDM: Time Division Multiplex
STU-R: Simulates the customer side (the modem) and
the PC based on TDM.
STU-C: Simulates the exchange side (the DSLAM)
based on TDM.
