KE420 xDSL Probe
The xDSL Probe is a non-contact test receiver for active DSL connections
and for the toner signals sent by the xDSL Check.
A flashlight function with pure white light guarantees clear colour recognition
of the wire identification in dark distribution boxes. The test probe of the xDSL
Probe consists of fibre-reinforced, conductive plastic with bayonet lock for
easy tip change without opening the device.
At the lower end of the xDSL sample there is a connection socket for an op-
tionally available earphone (Art. No. 49600) with which signals can be easily
tracked from greater distances (up to approx. 30 cm).
The xDSL Probe is switched on by briefly pressing the
HIGH
or
LOW
but-
tons. The
HIGH
position is the more sensitive level used to search for weak
signals. In the
LOW
position, for example, the found wire pair or cable is
specified more precisely.
