High-capacity frying zone

The high-capacity frying zone is activated when the cooking zones 2 and 3
(left and right rear cooking zone, see page 15) are operated together.
The frying zone is controlled via the right cooking zone. This is only possi-
ble, if the left cooking zone is switched off.

Switching on the high-capacity frying zone:

Switch on the right cooking zone. Then press the cooking zone symbol

 next to the plus/minus sensors.

The LED display above the cooking zone symbol will light up to indicate that
the high-capacity frying zone has been switched on.

 is displayed in the

cooking zone display of the left cooking zone. This symbol is permanently
displayed when the high-capacity frying zone is switched on.

Switching off the high-capacity frying zone

Pressing the cooking zone symbol once again (lifting the finger for a short
moment) deactivates the high-capacity frying zone.
The two cooking zones can be operated separately again.

Child proof lock (sensor lock)

Operating the sensor lock prevents unauthorised persons from using the
appliance. In order to activate this lock the cooking zone has to be in opera-
tion.

Press the sensor lock for 2 se-
conds. You may also switch on
the lock while cooking. Then,
however, you can only reduce
the heat or switch off the coo-
king zone.

The lock is indicated by 3 flashing control indicators, i.e.:
- control indicator of the sensor key of the child proof lock
- control indicator of the dual-circuit cooking zone
- control indicator of the high-capacity frying zone

Be careful:

Switching off the cooking zone does not deactivate the lock!

Deactivating the lock:

Press the sensors underneath the two left flashing control indicators simulta-
neously until a short signal beep can be heard. After not more than 5 se-
conds press the sensor underneath the flashing control indicator on the
right.
You can also press all three sensors at the same time. (Press the two on
the left using the thumb and index finger of your left hand).

Minute minder

The minute minder is equipped with a sleep-/and a switch-off function for a
maximum interval of 99 minutes.

You can activate the minute min-
der by pressing the plus or the
minus-sensor.
You can then select the required
period of time with the plus-sen-
sor (starting at 0) and the minus-
sensor (starting at 99).

An audible signal sounds for
about 30 seconds when the
time has elapsed.
“00” is displayed.

The audible tone goes off when
pressing the plus- and the mi-
nus-sensor at the same time.

Switch off function

The left rear cooking zone is equipped with the switch off function. The
switch off function is active for the left cooking zone when operated separa-
tely and in combination with the high-capacity frying zone.

Set the minute minder to the required time for the left rear
cooking zone.
Pressing the clock sensor next to the cooking zone sensor for the left rear
cooking zone activates the minute minder.
The cooking zone switches off automatically after the set time.

An audible signal sounds for ap-
prox. 30 seconds when the time
has elapsed.
”00” is displayed.

Press the plus and minus sen-
sor at the same time in order to
