Operation
Tedder-rake combination
HAYBOB 300
Adjustments for spreading and tedding
- Lower machine and start a right hand turn.
- Then pull cord (4) to disengage lever (2) from bracket
pin (3).
- Set all tines to tedding position (6).
- Use the lower holes (7) for wheel height adjustment:
to avoid strips being left between the rotors
(e.g. in a short and difficult crop) it is advisable to use
a higher hole.
- Then lower machine completely and drive a little
forward, until distance A is maximal.
In this position the forward side of the rotors is nearest
the ground.
- Now operate machine at full working speed
(350 - 540 rpm at the pto) and adjust top link, so that
the tine tips are just touching the stubble in front of the
rotors.
Forward inclination of rotors can be set as
required for the circumstances by varying
wheel height in conjunction with top link
length!
When adjusting the top link ensure a safe
distance to the tines of the rotating rotors is
kept!
