WORKING POSITION AND ADJUSTMENTS
To change the
GF 5001 MHA
from transport position
to work position, proceed as follows.
- Pressurize the hydraulic cylinders so that the 2 rotors
close up against their stops.
- Release locks (R) from the tractor seat by pulling cord
(C) (photo 17).
- Lower the outside rotors down. This operation unlocks
the pendulum arm simultaneously.
- Double check that parking stand is locked in its upper
position (photo 17).
When tedding, the tractor 3-point linkage should
always be in the free floating position.

FOLDED INTO TRANSPORT POSI-
TION.
Rotor angle is adjustable in 2 different positions :
1° Maximum working angle is obtained when handle (L) is facing upwards (photo 18).
2° Minimum working angle is obtained when handle (L) is facing downwards (photo 19).
Maximum working angle should be used for first cut (normal or particularly dense crops).
For second and third cuts (medium density and light crops) the minimum working angle position should be used.
