Bevel gearbox : (Cutterbar drive)

a) Checking the oil level :

Oil level must be checked with
the dipstick fully screwed in the
gearbox.

- Clean area around, then remove plug (1).

- Check oil level using the dipstick (3) with

groove (4) indicating oil level.

- Refill if necessary using 80W-90 GL5 oil.

- Reinstall the fill plug.

b) Draining (After the first 10 hours then every

200 hours or once a year) :

- Remove plug (1) to release any excess

pressure.

- Put a container under drain plug (2) and

remove it.

- Allow oil to drain completely.

- Clean the magnet on the plug, reinstall it

with a new copper sealing ring.

- Refill the bevel gearbox to the groove

(1 qt = 0.75  Liters).

- Reinstall the fill plug.
