Before carrying out any operation such as adjustments or maintenance on
the machine, stop the tractor engine, remove ignition key and wait for rotating
discs and rotor to stop before leaving the tractor.

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT(S)

Note :

The header angle has an influence on the cutting quality  :

- Recommended cutting height: 2" (5 cm)
- In difficult conditions or on newly seeded soils, it is recommended to only work at  4" (10 cm)

with the mower conditioner unit suspension system adjusted to the minimum ground
pressure.
This results in better cutterbar ground clearance ; improved ground following of the mowing
conditioning unit; minimum wear to knives as well as discs.

ADJUSTMENTS

A graduated plate located on the adjustment
rod indicates the cutting height in cm and in
inches.

To reduce the cutting height raise lock and turn
rod clockwise: anticlockwise to increase the
cutting height.

Put the lock back in place after having reached
the desired cutting height.
