RT120Q Operator’s Manual

Drive - 85

Drive

When cold start wait indicator turns off, turn ignition switch clockwise to start tractor. Warning alarm will
sound. Indicators will light.

•

If engine does not start, ensure start interlock conditions are met.

•

If engine turns but does not start within 20 seconds, allow starter to cool one minute before trying
to start again.

Run engine at half-throttle or less for five minutes before operating tractor. Ensure all controls function
properly.

Drive

General Operation

Turn on optional lights as needed.

Raise backfill blade and all attachments.

Release parking brake.

Adjust throttle.

When operating in Low or Medium:

•

if using the ground drive speed control, the ground drive foot control will only increase speed.

•

any opposing signal from controls causes ground drive to stop.

When operating in High, ground drive stops if ground drive speed control is moved out of neutral
position.

Moving traffic – hazardous situation. Death or serious injury could result.

Avoid moving vehicles, wear high visibility clothing, post appropriate warning signs.

To help avoid injury:

•

Survey your field of vision when operating the machine.

•

Drive carefully in congested areas. Know machine’s clearance and turning radius.

EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN

: Turn ignition switch to STOP.
