SRF27 Series Hose Hook-Up
Refer to Figure 1-4 on page 14:
1.
Shut skid steer down properly to dismount. Refer to
“Skid Steer Shutdown”
on page 18.
2.
Relieve pressure to the auxiliary hydraulics.
3.
When hooking up to a Kubota skid steer using hose
stay illustrated in Figure 1-6, screw 90
o
elbows (#3) to
hydraulic hoses (#1 & #2) until tight.
4.
Select male coupler (#4) or female coupler (#5) that
mates with the skid steer’s high pressure coupler and
attach that coupler to hydraulic hose (#1). Hose (#1)
is attached to motor port “A”.
5.
Attach remaining coupler (#4 or #5) to hose (#2). If
coupler on hose (#1) does not mate with the skid
steer high pressure coupler, then switch couplers
(#4) and (#5) on hydraulic lines (#1 & #2).

Make sure hydraulic hoses are routed
IMPORTANT:
Collect and dispose all oil spills and
leaks in an environmentally safe manner.
IMPORTANT:
Refer to your skid steer Operator’s
Manual to determine which quick connect coupler on
your skid steer is under pressure while the skid steer
is locked in continuous operation. Hydraulic
hose (#1) should couple to this coupler.

Use Hose Stay With SRF Series Only
6.
Make certain elbows (#3) and couplers (#4 & #5) are
properly tightened to hydraulic hoses (#1 & #2).
7.
Clean quick connect couplers (#4 & #5) of dirt and
then connect male and female couplers to the skid
steer outlets. Make sure couplers have fully
engaged. If they have not, check the following:
a. Make sure couplers are same size and type.
b. Make sure hydraulic pressure has been released.
SR27 Series Hose Hook-Up
Refer to Figure 1-5 on page 14:
Hydraulic hose hook-up should provide continuous
hydraulic flow to the motor while raking. Hydraulic hose
(#9) is pressurized and should be attached to the skid
steer’s hydraulic line that is under continuous pressure
when controls are locked for continuous operation.
1.
Shut skid steer down properly to dismount. Refer to
Skid Steer Shutdown Procedure on page 20.
2.
Relieve pressure to the auxiliary hydraulics.
3.
Clean quick connect couplers (#3 & #4) of dirt and
then connect male and female couplers to the skid
steer outlets. Make sure couplers have fully
engaged. If they have not, check the following:
a. Make sure couplers are same size and type.
b. Make sure hydraulic pressure has been released.
4.
Route hydraulic hoses (#8 & #9) through the most
convenient path to access the skid steer power
equipment couplers.
5.
Connect couplings (#3 & #4) to the skid steer quick
release couplers.
6.

NOTE:
If attaching SRF27 to a Kubota skid steer,
route hydraulic hoses through Kubota’s SVL or SSV
Hose Stay as shown in Figure 1-6. Purchase
SVL
Hose Stay #S6689 or SSV Hose Stay #77700-07225
through your nearest Kubota dealer. Refer to your skid
steer Operator’s Manual for more instructions.
IMPORTANT:
Refer to your skid steer Operator’s
Manual to determine which quick connect coupler on
your skid steer is under pressure while the skid steer
is locked in continuous operation. Hydraulic hose
(#8) should couple to this coupler.
NOTE:
Do not use SVL or SSV hose stay when
hooking-up the SR27 hydraulic hoses. Refer to
Figure 1-7 on page 16 for correct hose routing.
