5-1 Cleaning
Do not sterilize the device by heat or with ethylene or put it in other solutions to sterilize. Wipe it out with
hands or soft cloth wet with some concentrated alcohol or cleaner. For cleaning, take power cord and cables
away. In case of using the SpO2 sensor for reuse, wipe out its face with soft cloth wet with 70 % isopropyl
alcohol.
In case that sterilization is required, wipe it out with soft cloth wet with 5~2.25% sodium hypochlorite
solution. A disposable SpO2 sensor should not be re-used.
5-2 Maintenance
Service Checks
When you ask its authorized representative for service, the manufacturer's label, serial number, date of
original purchasing date will be required.
We recommend you have to check regular calibrations at least every 2 years. In this case, please contact
KTMED or its authorized representative for service.
If the defects in materials or workmanship are found within two year from the date of original purchase, the
manufacturer will repair or replace your unit with new or rebuilt parts without any charges except below
cases,
1) The lapse of the warranty period
2) Defects caused by operating or handling the unit carelessly
3) Defects caused by a natural calamity
4) Defects caused by repairing or disassembling the unit by an unauthorized person
Components for the unit will be kept for 5years after the unit face out.
