5.1 Assembly
Warning
Danger of accidents Loading luggage can significantly affect the handling characteristics.
Luggage affects the handling, cornering and braking characteristics, particularly when fully laden, and
increases crosswind sensitivity.

Ride especially carefully in strong wind.

Slowly accelerate to the permitted maximum speed.

Danger of accidents Overloading, a one-sided payload, or the topcase slipping impairs handling characte-
ristics.
If the topcase opens while riding, luggage or items can fall out and endanger road users behind.

Loading the topcase

Make sure that the topcase is firmly closed while riding.

Do not use the topcase if the topcase is damaged.

When cleaning with a pressure cleaner, maintain a distance of at least half a meter from the top case and
use a neutral cleaning agent (water with neutral soap).
Condition
The luggage rack 60612910044 (not included) is required to
mount the Top Case.
