On a light-colored wall behind a horizontal area, make a mark as high as the center
of the headlight.

Make another mark a distance

under the first mark.

Position the motorcycle vertically a distance

away from the wall. The rider, wear-
ing a full set of protective clothing, sits on the motorcycle in the normal sitting
position (feet on the footrests).

Switch on the low beam. Check the headlight setting.
The boundary between light and dark must be exactly on the lower mark for an
operational motorcycle with a rider.
» If the boundary between light and dark does not meet specifications:

vehicle.
