6 Commissioning/Start-up/Shutdown

6.1 Commissioning/Start-up

6.1.1 Prerequisites for commissioning/start-up

Before commissioning/start-up of the system make sure that the following
requirements are met:

▪

The system has been properly connected to the electric power supply and is
equipped with all protection devices.

▪

All relevant VDE standards and/or regulations applicable in the country of use are
complied with.

6.1.2 Priming and venting the system

Filling

Connect the mains water back-up system to the mains water supply.

Section 5.4.1, Page 19)

The system has been properly connected to the power supply.
(

Section 5.5, Page 22)

1. Set the operating mode selector switch to mains water mode for approximately

15 seconds. (

Section 7, Page 32)

The mains water storage tank will fill automatically.

Venting

The mains water storage tank has been filled.

The power plug has been plugged into the socket.

1. Insert the vent hose into the mains water storage tank.
