Basic setting
Distance of the rotors to the swath former:
a lot of fodder
= large distance
little fodder
= small distance
The driving speeds depends on the pattern achieved =
clean raking with good swath forming.
• Before completely lowering the rotor
arms into operating position extend
rotary arms to the stop.
• Never perform the working width
setting while the tractor is standing and
the tines have contact with the ground.
The operating width of the rotor arms
should be adjusted during operation.
• Apply pressure to the double-acting control hydraulic
(1) and slowly extend or retract the rotor.
5.4 Setting the Operating Width
Electrical / Mechanic
To achieve the an optimum working result, the cross-
slope of the rotors at the rear trailing wheels of the
chassis (left and right) can be adjusted.
Do not step under the lifted rotors.
• To do this, lift the rotor arms only as far as
necessary to carry out the adjustment work.
• Demount the rear trailing wheels and remount them in
the desired position.
With heavy feed - set the chassis internally
as low as possible!
5.5 Setting the lateral inclination of
the swather disk chassis
