Hydraulic system
6.2 Adjusting the hydraulic system
The
operator-friendly hydraulic
system of the short-stalk
loading wagon must be adapted to the tractor (see
KLW0A-07) and is designed for continuous circulation.
The system is adapted by adjusting the hydraulic system
screw on the solenoid valve unit.
The unit is located on the end of the wagon at the front
and right under the protective box.
The adjustment is dependent on the
hydraulic system of the tractor and
must be made when the system on the
loading wagon is in a non-pressurised
state.
Screw out the system screw (1) to its end stop if:
– the tractor has a standard hydraulic system (pump
constant)
– the tractor has an LS pump and non-activated load-
sensing system
This adjustment is carried out by works
personnel.
Screw in the system screw (1) to its end stop if:
– the tractor has a closed hydraulic system (e.g John
Deere)
– the tractor has an LS pump and a connected signal
cable
The connection (2) for the signal cable
is located beneath the hydraulic system
screw.
•
Keep to an adequate safety distance while these procedures are being carried out.
Switch off the power take-off shaft and the electrical system.
6.2.1 Emergency manual operation
If there is a breakdown of the electrical system or the
solenoid valves, operation of the control and directional
control valves can be carried out mechanically.
In the case of control valves, the pipework is released by
screwing in the regulating screw. In the case of directional
control valves, the release for manual operation in the
desired direction is given by pressing in the solenoid
plunger using a pointed object.
The required combined operation of the control and
directional control valves is presented in the diagram
(KLWOA-06 and KLWOA-07, Pages VI - 4 and VI - 5) and
on an adhesive label in the sheet-steel guard on the
hydraulic valve unit.
