2.3 Bus Connection Profibus DP Device
For a detailed description of the electrical connections of the MFC300 please refer to the OPTI-
MASS Handbok.
The illustration above shows a typical instrumentation with PROFIBUS devices with RS-485
interface in non-hazardous locations. The PROFIBUS devices with RS-485 interface do not
need any segment coupler. They can be connected directly to the PROFIBUS DP Network.
