Defining KDS-SW2-EN7 User Access
The Users tab enables activating device security and defining logon authentication details.
When device security is on, web page access requires authentication upon initial landing on
operation page. The default password is
admin
. By default, security is disabled.
Enabling User Access
To enable security:
1. In the Navigation pane, click
Device Settings
. The General tab in the Device Settings
2. Select Users tab.

On
next to Security Status to enable web page authentication (Off by default). The
following message appears.
