Menu 2: Settings
Menu description
No filter is active for Averaging 0 and 1. In the
case of Averaging 2–9 a continous average-
value generation is carried out. A Vz1 filter is
active at Averaging 10–10000. In the process the
old measured values is weighted higher by the
averaging value than the new measured value.
2.08 Scale pulse output 1
Scaling of the pulse output allows the pulse signi-
ficance to be set. Since the pulse values can also
be output in packets, we recommend scaling only
for total values.
Note
: Select scaling so that the limit frequency of
250/125 Hz is not exceeded.
2.09 Start message
The display of the start message can be activa-
ted or deactivated.
2.10 Address modbus
The transfer of data by means of the Modbus is
possible via the serial interface. The address can
be set here.
Note
: Data exchange via the bus connection is
not password-protected! Write access deletes
existing values. Therefore we recommend only
reading of the data.
2.11 Function sensor
The setting of the sensor type has to be adapted
to the sensor used.

Either PNP or NPN can be selected for push-pull
sensors.
2.12 Averaging display rate
In the case of fluctuating flow rates the use of
average-value generation allows a stable display.
Averaging can be adapted to the requirements
with values between 1 and 10000. However,
rapid changes are only displayed with a time
delay.
Examples of reaction time for a change of 99,9 %
of the actual frequency jump:
