6.5 Combination Venting
IMPORTANT: Horizontal vent sections require ¼”(6mm) rise for every
12” (305mm) of travel.
The vent configurations listed below are shown with rigid pipe.
Flexible pipe may be used for approved venting configurations by vent
manufacturers listed in Section 6.1 Approved Vent Systems on page
21.Refer to vent manufacturer’s instructions.
Minimum Vertical Rise, Minimum / Maximum Horizontal Run:
24” (610mm) minimum vertical rise + 90° horizontal elbow + 6”
(152mm) minimum horizontal run / 48” (1219mm) maximum
horizontal run + termination cap
