Connecting to AC Power Source via the AC/DC Adapter

connect the system to an AC power source.
The V Panel Express system will be connected to an AC power source via the AC/DC adapter (option).

1.
Connect the 3-pin DC connector of the AC/DC adapter to the appropriate DC power connector (refer to Fig. 8, pos. 9)
of the V Panel Express. The DC power connector of the system is on the bottom side and is labeled “24V DC”. Make sure
the connector is securely locked in place.
2.
Connect the AC power cord to the AC/DC adapter.
3.
Plug the AC connector of the adapter into an AC wall outlet of the AC power source.
Please observe the recommendations given in the chapter 4 “General Safety Instructions for IT Equipment”.
The AC power cable must correspond to the requirements of the country where the system is used.
The AC/DC adapter must stand freely and may not be covered. Do not place the AC/DC adapter on a heat-
sensitive surface.
There must be at least 100 mm (approximately 4”) free space around the
V Panel Express 121/150/170/190 system and around the AC/DC adapter.
