Overview
This chapter provides the definitions and locations of jumpers, headers, and connectors. All of
the configuration jumpers on the SBC-845D-VEA single board computer are shipped with the
default settings. The default settings are marked with a star ( * ).

Jumpers
In general, the jumpers are used to select options for certain features (Figure 2-1). Some of the
jumpers are user-configurable, allowing system enhancement. Other jumpers are used for
testing purposes only and should not be altered. To select any option, insert the jumper cap
(Short) or remove (NC) the jumper cap from the jumper pins according to the following
instructions. (Here NC stands for “Not Connected”. )
