Supervisor Hint String>
Here you can enter a hint for remembering the Supervisor
Password.

Set or clear the User account’s password.

User only or both user and master password (only active if HDD is

Set user password for HDD02 (only active if HDD is detected)

Set master password for HDD02 (only active if HDD is detected
and HDD Password Select is User+Master)

If only the administrator’s password is set, then only access to the setup is limited and is
requested when entering the setup.
If the user’s password is set, then the password is a power on password and must be
entered to boot or enter setup. In the setup the user has restricted rights.

Remember the Password
It is highly recommended to keep a record of all passwords in a safe place. Forgotten passwords results in the user
being locked out of the system.
If the system cannot be booted because the User Password or the Supervisor Password are not known, boot from the
recovery BIOS (J49), or contact Kontron Support for further assistance.
