• 2x 1GBase-X SFP uplinks to the front panel

• Broadcom BCM8727 dual 10GbE PHYs for front panel 1/10GbE uplinks

Unit Computer and System Memory

• Soldered PowerPC IBM PPC405Ex

• Used for switch provisioning and diagnostics

IPMI Management

• Peripheral Manager (PM) is a Renesas H8S2166 Microcontroller

• PICMG 2.9 / IPMI 1.5 compliant

• Dual Flash Image Support

• Board voltage, Current monitoring

• Board temperature monitoring

• Optionally NV Memories can be hardware protected

Miscellaneous

• Management connection to Unit Computer via RS232 front RJ45

• Management connection to Unit Computer using front 10/100/1000Base-T management port

• Management connection to Unit computer via RS232 at J4

• FRU data storage (serial ID) in Unit Computer NOR Flash

• Board support package includes WindRiver Linux, device drivers, protocol stacks bootloader and power

on self tests

1.1.1.3 Internal Backplane

• Capable to route 24 ports 10/100/1000Base-T from the switch board to the front interface

• Support for hot swap fan tray

• Support for hot swap power supplies (2 U version)

• CPCI Keying: The backplane has an IO voltage of 3.3V and is populated with a Cadmium Yellow coding

key in the P1 connector cavity

• 2U with 24 ports 10/100/1000Base-T
