MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Demounting of anti-skid chain
• Unhook tightening spring
• Open tightening lever
• Loosen tightening chain
• Loosen closure hook (starting on the outside of the wheel)
• Pull chain off of the wheel
Care of chains
Mud and dirt-covered chains should be rinsed in hot water and then dried.
Regular inspection of condition: Turn the chains when one side of the links is worn down
by 1/3 of the wire diameter. Chains with welded wear studs.
Repairing

• Use all repair parts only for those snow chains which they are packed with. Do not use
repair links of any other manufacturer to repair chains.
• The use of unfit tools or the non-observance of these repair instructions may cause da-
maging of the tyre, the chain, or the vehicle, as well as failure of the chain and thus an
increased risk of accidents.
• When mounting repair parts on the way, these cannot be welded. Do not exceed 30 km/h
when using a provisionally repaired chain.
• Please note that the repair parts are only designed to help you reach the next service
station. They can never substitute the original welded parts!
